A 16 year old girl who was missing from last week, has been found dead near the river at Naloaloa Village in Savusavu.
Divisional Police Commander North SSP Kemueli Baledrokadroka says the victim was initially reported missing on the night of the 15th of March from Waisali Village.
He says search efforts were conducted with villagers but were unsuccessful due to the weather conditions.
The victim’s body has been taken to the Savusavu Mortuary and Police are awaiting the post mortem result.
