15,000 suspected marijuana plants seized in Naqeletoka

An investigation is underway following the seizure of over 15,000 suspected marijuana plants by Tukavesi Police in the Naqeletoka farming area in Cakaudrove.

Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations Livai Driu confirms the plants, ranging from 15cm to 1.5metres in height, were discovered yesterday afternoon.

He says the Authorities are working to determine the owner of the farm, and all seized plants have been sent for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
