There have been 15 new cases of COVID-19 since the 20th of this month.

8 of the new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours.

Permanent Secretary for Health Doctor James Fong says overall, for this 2nd wave, there have been 52,398 cases recorded, with 71% of the cases from the Central Division, 28% of the cases from the Western Division and 1% of the cases from the Eastern and Northern Divisions.

There are no new COVID-19 deaths.

695 people have died from COVID-19 in Fiji.

598 COVID-19 positive patients have died from serious medical conditions they had before they contracted COVID-19.

These are not classified as COVID-19 deaths.
