15 drivers arrested for drunk and driving and 180 traffic infringement notices issued

Fifteen drivers spent their Mother’s Day in custody after they were arrested for drunk and driving between 6am Saturday to 6am yesterday.

Police say thirteen arrests were made in the Western Division, while the Eastern and Southern Divisions recorded one arrest each.

Police are also concerned about speeding, as 180 traffic infringement notices were issued.
