Wales were held to a frustrating 20-20 draw by a 14-men Argentina side at Principality Stadium this morning.

The Pumas were put under the pump when full-back Juan Cruz Mallia was sent off for a high tackle on Kieran Hardy in the 29th minute, but they caused Wales several problems and looked stronger for periods of the match, despite being a man down.

Argentina was trailing 6-3 at the time but rallied through tries from Pablo Matera and Jeronimo de la Fuente and the boot of Nicolas Sanchez.

Tries from Will Rowlands and Tomos Williams helped Wales to level the scores.

Wales will meet Argentina in their second test match next Sunday.
