13,120 Year 12 students will sit their first paper which is English today in the 2025 Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination at 177 centres nationwide.

The Ministry of Education says this year’s candidate number is up from 12,868 in 2024.

Education Minister Aseri Radrodro is urging students to stay calm, trust the work they’ve put in, and enter each paper with confidence.

He acknowledges the dedication students have shown, and the support of families, teachers and school communities across the country.

Radrodro says the Ministry joins the nation in wishing all Year 12 students success, adding that their hard work has brought them this far and they should continue striving for excellence.
