13-year-old Timoci Nagusa of Marist Brothers High School and 18-year-old former Suva Grammar School student Anare Mana have signed a National Rugby League Academy contract with the Bulldogs Club in Australia after catching the attention of overseas scouts.

According to the Club, they are confident the players will make a name for themselves.

The two young Bulldogs recruits will be attending a boarding school in Sydney next year.

Nagusa is the son of former Flying Fijian wing Timoci Nagusa, and he is also a gold medallist in the 2024 Coca-Cola Games, where he participated in the 4x100 metres relay.

Nagusa is also the current record holder for the Sub Junior Boys Shot Put.

Mana is also a former gold medallist in the 4x100 metres relay team for Grammar in 2023.
