`The Barara Youth Club has so far given out 1,296 food packs to affected families in the Western Division.

The club says they are thankful to donors for their continuous assistance during these difficult times so they can continue to assist those who are affected.

They say it has been a difficult time for most families and these families need support from all Fijians.

The club is also urging community youth groups to step up and engage in assisting families in their communities who have been severely affected by the pandemic.

The Barara Youth club began their assistance initiative when they saw that many breadwinners of a family were not working due to the lockdown of their settlement this year.

They are also looking to assist more families and is requesting the business community for their assistance and support.
