With the school break almost at an end, Jone Rabelo Nadola Delai is thankful that he utilised four of those weeks attending a program offered by Polytech called Basic in Computers.

Delai, who attends Vashist Muni Primary School in Navua says he learned computer basics, such as opening documents and accessing Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

While speaking to fijivillage News the 12-year-old says he is glad he did something productive instead of staying home and doing nothing.

Delai says before attending this program, he did not know about computers, however, after completing the program, he has developed a good understanding of computers and is familiar with them.

He also acknowledged his parents for encouraging him to attend the holiday class and explore computers, especially since we are living in a technological world.

Delai adds he is looking forward to the next holiday class to learn even more about computers.

The cost of this computer class is $75 for four weeks.
