115 participants showcase golfing spirit at 53rd Annual R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf

A total of 115 participants were part of the 53rd Annual R.C. Manubhai Ba Golf opening celebration where they came together to showcase the unwavering spirit of the golfing community.

President of the Ba Golf Club, Rohit Chandra says the event, organized by the Ba Golf Club in partnership with R.C. Manubhai & Co. Ltd., showcased the rich tradition and camaraderie that is synonymous with the tournament and it was a testament to the enduring passion for golf in Fiji, with participants ranging from seasoned professionals to enthusiastic amateurs.

Chandra says they are thrilled to see such a strong turnout during the tournament because it has a legacy of promoting golf in Fiji and nurturing local talent, and this year's edition has lived up to that legacy.

The President says the competition was fierce, with players showcasing their talent and determination throughout the event.

He further says for two days, participants faced challenging fairways and greens, testing their skills and resilience and that event witnessed golf enthusiast from all over Fiji and beyond coming together for a remarkable celebration of the sport.

R.C. Manubhai & Co.Ltd, Group Marketing Manager Atish Kumar Singh says they are committed to supporting sports and community events that bring people together and they are happy to partner with Ba Golf Open has always been a platform for nurturing talent and fostering unity, and they are proud to be associated with it.

The winners in various categories were announced at the event's closing ceremony, with trophies and prizes being awarded to those who displayed exceptional skills and sportsmanship.

This event will undoubtedly continue to be a cornerstone of Fiji's golfing calendar, bringing together golf enthusiasts, and showcasing the beauty of the sport.
