11 Men expected to be charged for allegedly threatening to cut off water supply to Suva

The eleven men who were taken in by Police for questioning on Saturday for allegedly threatening to cut off the water supply to the residents of Suva are expected to be charged later this afternoon.

Police Chief of Operations, ACP Maretino Qiolevu says those men are still in police custody.

The 11 men of Colo-i-Suva Village allegedly made the threats on a live Facebook video.

They were being questioned for alleged criminal trespass.

In the video, the men claimed that they were not receiving the lease money for the dam in Savura, Colo i Suva.
