107,000 people assisted after TC Harold

200 tents donated by Republic Of France

Minister for National Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu and French Ambassador Jean Francois Fitou.

107,000 families who were severely affected by Tropical Cyclone Harold have been assisted by the government so far.

Minister for National Disaster Management, Inia Seruiratu says today marks the completion of the second phase of relief supplies to these 107,000 families.

Meanwhile Fiji has received 200 tents for TC Harold as a donation from France.

Seruiratu received the donation from French Ambassador Jean Francois Fitou. The NDMO says 81 tents have already been delivered to Vatulele for those who lost their homes during TC Harold.
