$100 unemployment assistance extended to Taveuni, Qamea and Rabi

People living in Taveuni, Qamea and Rabi Island can now apply for the $100 unemployment assistance as Government has extended the scheme to these areas.

Applications will begin at 9am tomorrow and close at 5pm Friday.

Payments will start next Thursday.

People can apply by providing their full name, birth registration number or citizenship number, date of birth, TIN, FNPF number, voter identification number, home address and a declaration to confirm they have received both jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine.

You can send these details by dialing *161#.

The Government says incomplete submissions or submissions containing incorrect information will not be considered and there are stiff penalties for individuals attempting to double-dip on the assistance.
