One person has been charged by Police while three others have been questioned for allegedly throwing contraband into the Suva Remand Centre in the past few days.

A person has been charged by the Police after he was identified via CCTV cameras throwing in illegal items over the Suva Remand Centre walls.

The Fiji Corrections Service says two suspects were also taken into Police custody after their vehicle was identified by CCTV tossing contraband over the Remand Centre walls on Thursday.

They confiscated a sock packed with 16 rolls of suki, 13 rolls of marijuana and a phone charger.
