We should not call it a war against drugs, because every time you add the word 'war' it has a bad connotation.

Former FM96 Sports Editor Aiyaz Dean who is based in Hawaii highlighted this to fijivillage News at the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture.

Dean says the minute you call it a war against anything, you will run into a problem.

He says it should be called a solution against drugs.

The former Sports Editor says we need a little bit of help when it comes to our drugs problem.

He says he even participated in a workshop organised by Leadership Fiji regarding drug rehabilitation centres about 4 years ago.

Dean says he loves Fiji and makes the time to travel to the country every year and it was also where he met his wife of over forty years.
