Police should feel confident because they are capable and government must enable them in this regard.

While on his tour in the Northern Division, Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua says police should not feel confident because the military is behind them.

Tikoduadua maintains that police should be blue.

Tikoduadua also stressed the importance of community policing in their coverage area as a way of reducing criminal activities.

He urged officers to be pro-active in their approach, explaining that the more they reach out to communities, the lesser the chances are of arrests.
