Telling someone to stop barking like an Indian dog is not racist - Geraghty
USP Professor in Linguistics, Paul Geraghty

USP Professor in Linguistics, Paul Geraghty maintains that telling someone to stop barking like an Indian dog is not racist.

Geraghty says he does not see anything wrong with the term.

Geraghty says it is like he as a linguist calling a Black American a Nigger, and it depends on the context in which this is said.

When questioned further as many people are saying that the term is seen as racist, Geraghty says the act of racism is not only made through words.
