Sam Whitelock auctioning off 150th Crusaders game jersey for rural wellbeing group

All Black Sam Whitelock is using his upcoming milestone as a chance to support the farming community by auctioning off the jersey for his 150th Crusaders game for a rural wellbeing group.

Whitelock is set to make his 150th Super Rugby appearance this weekend when the Crusaders play the Chiefs in Hamilton, 10 years after debuting for the franchise.

The 149-cap veteran told TVNZ1's Breakfast this morning that playing for so long is something he cherishes.

The Chiefs will take on the Crusaders at 7.05 pm Saturday while the Blues will face the Highlanders at 3.35 pm Sunday.
