Parents and guardians need to take responsibility for their children's whereabouts and activities after concerns were raised by a Nadera resident as teenagers were seen flying kites on an empty plot without masks this afternoon.

Acting Police Commissioner, Rusiate Tudravu says this is not a time to be allowing children to be playing or mixing with other children or people from other bubbles because of the risks.

A Maqbool Road, Nadera resident says he is concerned as there were about 5 teenagers who were without masks.

He says he has never seen those teenagers in his neighbourhood.

Police confirms that a patrol team had been sent to the neighbourhood.
