Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s coach Ben Gollings says they had picked up a few knocks at the Commonwealth Games, but there are no real major injury concerns within the team.

Gollings says everybody is being available for selection for the World Cup next month.

He says it will be exciting to see the team develop during the Los Angeles 7s, after which they will finalise the squad for the World Cup.

Gollings has named 14 players for the LA 7s and it includes dual Olympic gold medallist, Jerry Tuwai, Iosefo Masi, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Joseva Talacolo, Jerry Matana, Josua Vakurunabili, Pilipo Bukayaro, Waisea Nacuqu, Filipe Sauturaga, Kaminieli Rasaku, Manueli Maisamoa, Vuiviawa Naduvalo, lowane Teba, and Elia Canakaivata.

Meanwhile, Nacuqu will continue to be the captain of the team.

The national side will travel straight to South Africa after LA 7s where they will prepare for another week before the World Cup 7s.

Fiji will play Wales in their first pool game at 6.10am Sunday, they will then play France at 9.31am Sunday and their final pool game is against Ireland at 1.05pm Sunday.

The cup quarters will start at 5.13am Monday, the cup semis will start at 9.09am Monday while the cup final will start at 12.28pm Monday.
