Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Veteran winger Nemani Nadolo has provided fascinating insight into quarantine life with the Fiji squad in France where 29 players and staff tested positive for COVID-19, resulting in the cancellation of three of their Autumn Nations Cup matches.
Despite having no option but to see France, Italy and Scotland all awarded 28-0 bonus-point group wins, Fiji is still hoping to be able to participate in a play-off match next month.
Appearing on the latest episode of The Rugby Pod from his hotel room in France, Nadolo says being locked up in a room takes its toll but they are all positive.
He says what they are doing now is following the rules which is ten days isolation.
He adds they know they still have a game so they are hopeful that the stars will align and they can get on the field and show their worth.
Fiji Rugby Union CEO John O'Connor has confirmed the team are still in quarantine and will be tested next Monday. Fiji will now hope to recover to face the fourth-place team in pool A next Thursday.
