More businesses investing in workforce, crucial for our nation's economic progress - Kamikamica

More businesses are required to invest in our workforce because it contributes to the progress of our economy.

This has been highlighted by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Manoa Kamikamica during the Fiji Human Resources Institute Annual Awards Night at the Grand Pacific Hotel.

Kamikamica says the Institute has successfully implemented various, or numerous initiatives, aimed at capacity building, professional development, and ethical practices in Human Resource management.

He says as they celebrate these achievements they must also address the challenges that lie ahead in terms of migration, productivity and performance management to remain at the forefront of their discussion.

The Deputy Prime Minister says we must create an environment that encourages our talent to stay in Fiji and thrive in Fiji.
