Methodist Church condemns attacks on places of worship
Reverend Dr. Jolame Lasawa

The Methodist Church of Fiji and Rotuma has confirmed that they do not support any act of destroying places of worship belonging to any denomination, especially those of Indo-Fijians.

General Secretary, Reverend Dr. Jolame Lasawa, says the Church has discussed the issue of break-ins that have been happening, and President, Reverend Dr. Semisi Turagavou, has reminded all Methodist believers to avoid engaging in such actions.

He adds that Fiji is already facing many challenges, and it is important that we work together with stakeholders to provide solutions to these social issues.
