Marist Brothers High School is looking forward to their match against Sigatoka Valley Cowboys in the U17 Fiji Secondary School Rugby League National quarter final this weekend at Kings Charles Park, Nadi.

Speaking to fijivillage News, Marist Brothers coach Jonetani Rika says they have been preparing well from last week, and they took their preparation to another level this week.

Rika says everyone in the team plays an important role, but the key players of the game are the fly halves and the forwards.

He says the fly halves are the ones controlling the game and the direction they are supposed to take.

Rika says they are just trying to finish this season with a good performance.

He also requested Marist supporters to come and support the players in Nadi this weekend.

Marist Storm will meet Sigatoka Valley Cowboys at 12.50pm Saturday.

In other U17 quarter finals this Saturday, Ba Pro Dragons will face Vashist Muni Sea Eagles at 9.20am, Natabua Bulldogs will face Nasinu Panthers at 10.30am, and Ba Methodist Saints will play QVS Knights at 11.40am.

The quarter finals will start at 8.20am, where Ra Roosters will take on Ratu Latianara Cowgirls in the girls’ division, Sigatoka Methodist Storm will face Nasinu Panthers, and Ba Methodist Saints will meet Lelean Bati in the U15 grade.
