 MSAF calls on ship owners and operators to take precautions as TC Yasa approaches Fiji

Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji is requesting all ship owners, operators, masters, agents, port management companies and operators, marinas, yacht clubs and pilots to take precautionary measures as Tropical Cyclone Yasa that is approaching Fiji.

MSAF is also calling on small boat owners to take necessary precautionary measures to ensure their boats are safe and to avoid any non-essential travel until it is safe to do so.

They say ship owners must provide all necessary support to masters of their ships and exercise good judgment to ensure their ships are kept safe during the passing of the cyclone.
