Meanwhile in other matches, Arsenal beat Southampton 3-1, Benford edged Wolverhampton Wanderes 5-3, Leicester City edged AFC Bournemouth 1-nil, West Ham United defaeted Ipswich Town 4-1 while Everton and Newcastle United finished nil-all.
