The Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s is more than showcasing talents, however, it’s about creating opportunities for players and fostering pathways for their development.

This is the sentiment expressed by the President of the Service Rugby Club and Tournament Organiser, Sisa Ramua, as they prepare for the Labasa 7s this week.

He says the tournament is about empowering and developing their youth through sports.

Paradise Beverages General Manager Mike Spencer emphasised the significance of the sponsorship, stating that the Fiji Bitter Labasa 7s aligns with their commitment to supporting community development through sports.

He says they are proud to be part of an event that not only promotes athletic excellence but also contributes to the growth and well-being of Labasa.

The Labasa 7s tournament will also include futsal, volleyball, and netball competitions.

Looking at the results from this morning, Lavidi Brothers thrashed Chillbar Lami Cavaliers 30-0, Service 2 beat Navunievu Brothers 19-10, Police Blue beat DXC Barbarians, and Nasolo defeated Northern Saints 10-5.

The Labasa 7s will finish on Saturday.
