Junior Binnu Singh is now the Super Fly champion of Fiji after beating Ritesh Goundar in Nadi last night.

Singh won on points.

In a supporting bout, Manoa Tuiyaro won by disqualification after Sireli Navua punched him after knocking him out.

There is no contender for the cruiser weight title as the fight between Sikeli Senidoko and Siliveni Nawai ended in a draw.

Meanwhile, the son of the late Joy Ali, Zulfikar Junior Joy will have to wait longer to become a professional boxer as he lost against Junior Abhay Chand in the 62kg category exhibit fight.

In supporting bouts last night, Fredrick Chand won against Shefrazud Dean after the latter threw in the towel in the 3rd round, Robin Hazleman drew against Abhay Chand, Gaberieli Ravalawai beat Junior Farzan while Apisai Naciqo knocked out Opeti Tagi.

Laisani Biau beat Amo Wati while Daniel Gill beat Ezra Volavola in other exhibit matches.

South Pacific Boxing promoter, Freddy Chand says they are planning for a bigger event in August and more details will be revealed later.
