A 38-year-old government vehicle driver has been arrested for breaching curfew regulations.

He failed to stop at a checkpoint in Martintar last night and was later arrested at Hotel Capricorn in Nadi.

Five cases were reported for curfew breaches over the past 48-hours.

Three people were found loitering along Robertson Road on Tuesday night.

Acting Commissioner of Police, Rusiate Tudravu says Police will not arrest anyone who has proper documentation on why they need to be moving around during curfew hours or anyone facing medical emergency.
