The Fiji Roads Authority says they are concerned with the recent acts of vandalism after a Higgins (Fiji) Grader Dry Hire was severely vandalised in Nakorotubu Road near Naocobau Hill in Rakiraki.

They say this is the second case this year in the Western Division.

FRA says the first case was when a grader on Lewa Road in Ba was also stoned and the electrical conduits was cut to pieces.

They say recently in the Central Division, China Railway Fifth Group’s heavy equipment roller was set on fire in Rewa.

FRA says these acts of vandalism will not be tolerated and they will work with police to pursue offenders.
