Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says every Fijian has the right to depart with dignity.

While officiating at the first Ek Rangeen Shaam Musical and Dinner Fundraising at FNU Campus in Samabula, Sayed-Khaiyum says when someone passes away, it needs to make sure that the rituals are carried out in a dignified environment and manner.

He says they have a program with various faith-based organisations where facilities are being put together.

Sayed-Khaiyum says they also have a program to try and replicate these facilities in other parts of Fiji which will be passed on to different faith-based organisations.

He says they do not want to give it to only one faith-based organisation but to all so that they can collectively look after it.
