Early morning fire breaks out at Raiwaqa Rups Store

Raiwaqa Rups store along Grantham

An early morning fire broke out at the Raiwaqa Rups store along Grantham Road this morning causing severe damage to the building.

The Raiwaqa Police Station confirmed to fijivillage News that the fire started at approximately 12.45am.

They say authorities are currently at the scene still attempting to control the spread of the fire.

Police say that the fire had spread to the Raiwaqa Buses garage, which sustained slight damage and has since been contained.

They have confirmed that there are no casualties.

We have sent questions to the National Fire Authority, and they are yet to respond.
