Bati was a bit rusty but the boys held their defence well - Turuva

Vodafone Fiji Bati player Sunia Turuva says they were a bit rusty this morning when they played against Scotland in their final Rugby League World Cup pool match, but the boys held their defence well.

Fiji defeated Scotland 30-14 this morning to claim their spot in the quarter-finals next week.

He says the coach had advised them at half time that it will take the whole 80-minute performance to defeat Scotland.

Interim Coach Wise Kativerata says they will work on their attacks this week as they have been working hard on their defence.

Fiji will meet New Zealand next Saturday.
