Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s player, Verenaisi Bari will make her debut at the Langford 7s this weekend.
Bari who was spotted by coach Saiasi Fuli in 2020 while playing for Savusavu at a local 7s tournament has since been part of the wider Fijiana 7s training squad.
She had missed out on the 2020 Tokyo Olympic selection but was a stand-out for the Fijiana at the recent International Mini 7s tournament at Churchill Park.
Fuli says Bari has developed and is ready for international exposure.
The Fijiana 7s will play USA at 4.30am in the first pool game tomorrow before taking on England at 7.56am. Fiji's final pool game is at 10.38am tomorrow against New Zealand.
The team consists of Rusila Nagasau, Vasiti Solikoviti, Vani Buleki, Sesenieli Donu, Raijeli Daveua, Mereula Toroti, Reapi Uluinasau, Viniana Riwai, Lavena Cavuru, Ana Naimasi, Aloesi Nakoci, Laisani Likuceva and Verenaisi Bari.
