3,792 people arrested for breaching curfew since March

3,792 people have been arrested so far for breaching curfew since it was introduced in March while 1,701 people were arrested for breaking social gathering guidelines.

According to Police, 44 people have been arrested for either robbery or drunk driving during curfew hours.

The Southern Division has recorded the highest number of breach of curfew with 1,616 people arrested while 732 people were taken into custody for breaches of social gathering guidelines.

1,151 people were arrested in the Western Division for breach of curfew and 388 people were arrested for not adhering to social gathering guidelines.

The Eastern Division saw 836 people arrested for breaches, the Northern Division saw 432 people arrested while the Central saw 348 people arrested.
