Only 30 percent of the areas in the Central Division have power supply and there are also unplanned power outages in the Western Division.
Energy Fiji Limited says the power disruption is due to broken power lines and their teams are now checking distribution lines.
The power disruption last night was mainly due to Energy Fiji Limited losing a generation set in Nadarivatu which they have fixed.
EFL says their teams are doing tests before they can restore power to the rest of Viti Levu.
Areas, where there are fallen power lines, will be de-energized, the lines will be fixed.
