A family of three have been left homeless after their three-bedroom house was destroyed in a fire yesterday morning in Lajonia, Labasa.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Prasad says they were not able to save anything, while the estimated cost of damage is $90,000.

He says when her mother woke up, she saw the sitting room was on fire.

They are requesting the government if they could provide them with timber and corrugated iron.

They are currently sheltering at their neigbhour’s place.
