Ba players have received a combined $50,000 in prizemoney and bonuses following the Men in Black’s historic four-title season.

The players were recognised during a cocktail last night hosted by the Ba Chamber of Commerce, celebrating the district’s successful 2026 season.

The players shared the full $25,000 prizemoney from the FMF Inter-District Championship, with major sponsor Dayals Steel matching the amount through an additional $25,000 bonus.

A further $10,000 was allocated to team management.

Ba Football Association President Praneel Dayal said the evening was an opportunity to recognise the sacrifices, commitment and collective effort behind the team’s achievements.

Dayal says losing the 2025 IDC final in front of their home supporters at the reopened Govind Park had been a painful experience.

He says he had personally funded Ba FA with more than $1 million since taking over the association.

Dayal also acknowledged the contributions of Rooster Poultry, Priceline Pharmacy, Glamada Investment, Pacifica Smart Business Advisory and Roylux Reality.

He thanked the players, technical staff, management, volunteers, supporters and families for their commitment and sacrifices throughout the season.

He urged the association to maintain its standards.
