The victory over Japan's Brave Blossoms has set the platform for the team's November Test window.
Speaking after the post-match interview, FIJI Water Flying Fijian Coach Jake White says it was good to be back coaching at the international level after 20 years.
He said he felt like a kid in a candy shop, filled with excitement and joy.
White says the players knew what to do at the business end of the game and they understood the assigment set for them and he was proud of his players.
The team will now look forward to Nations Championship next month, where they will face France on the 8th, Ireland on the 15th and Italy on the 22nd in their final match.
