Vodafone Fiji Bati head coach Mick Potter says the team will focus on improving the areas where they fell short as they prepare for their blockbuster clash against the Kangaroos tonight.
The Bati made a strong start to their 2026 Rugby League World Cup campaign, thumping the Cook Islands 40–12 in their opening match last Sunday.
Fiji scored seven tries to two to secure the win and currently top Pool A after the first round.
However, Potter says the team will be concentrating on addressing their shortcomings as they prepare to face Australia at 9.05pm tonight.
The match is expected to be a major test for the Bati as they look to build on their opening-round performance.
The Bati will face the Kangaroos at 9.05pm tonight.
In other matches today, New Zealand will take on the Cook Islands at 5.05pm, while England will face France at 6.35pm.
