The suspended police officer and his partner, who are involved in the serious assault of a child captured in a video circulating on social media, have been further remanded by the Nasinu Magistrates Court.
The State said they are awaiting the transcripts of the video recorded interviews.
Saint George Sisi Talei and Tofua Raiyasi are jointly charged with one count of an act intended to cause grievous harm.
The two appeared before Magistrate Lice Manulevu and were represented by the Legal Aid Commission.
Magistrate Manulevu has told their counsel to file their bail application so that the State has ample time to respond and it can all be sorted by 4th November.
