Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed that Lands Minister Filimoni Vosarogo will be the next Minister for Employment, while he will look outside Cabinet to appoint the next Attorney General.
Responding to questions from fijivillage News, Rabuka says none of his colleagues fully meet the requirement for the Attorney General position.
He says he may have to look outside Cabinet but is not sure who that will be.
When asked about appointing the next Minister for Justice, Rabuka says he would like to verify the qualifications before considering the options.
Speaking about Vosarogo’s appointment, Rabuka says his legal background will make it easier for him to handle the responsibilities, taking over from the late Minister Agni Deo Singh.
