Naitasiri Head Coach Timoci Tinaviti says rebuilding his players confidence is a priority as the side prepares for its first Inkk Farebrother Trophy defence against Vodafone Vanua champions Ra this Saturday.
Tinaviti says the team understands the importance of the challenge and is expecting a tough battle against Ra.
He says although Naitasiri missed out on a place in the Skipper Cup final, the players are determined to put that disappointment behind them and regain the confidence of their supporters.
Tinaviti says the Farebrother Challenge is a different competition, and the team must be well prepared if they are to successfully defend the trophy.
He also highlights the strong relationship between Naitasiri and Ra, saying the upcoming clash holds significance for both sides.
Tinaviti says the players are working hard in preparation and are focused on retaining the prestigious trophy.
Naitasiri will face Ra at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori this Saturday with kick-off scheduled for 3pm.
The Farebrother Challenge will continue on 14th November when the trophy holders face Nadroga.
The holders will then take on Tailevu on 21st November before the scheduled challenge matches conclude against Nadi on 28th November.
Venues and kick-off times for the remaining challenges are yet to be confirmed.
