The excitement is building at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva ahead of the 2026 FMF IDC Super Premier Division final between Dayals Steel Ba FC and Vantex Solutions Navua FC.
Speaking to fijivillage Sports, die-hard Ba fan Rajendra Rajiv Prakash from Waiwai, Ba, says he has come with high hopes of seeing his team win.
Prakash says he left home with a friend at 2 this morning to support Ba.
He says he is confident in the team heading into today's match, despite the disappointment of yesterday's game against Labasa, when Ba conceded a goal.
Prakash believes Ba is a different team when it comes to the final stages of the competition.
The black and red colours of Ba and Navua are flying proudly as fans gather to show their support.
However, Prakash says today's match against Navua will not be easy.
He recalls their earlier pool match, when Navua came out strongly and the two teams played out a 2-all draw.
The Super Premier Division final will kick off at 3pm.
