19-year-old Ryan Naresh has re-signed with Extra Bula FC for the 2027 OFC Professional League season.
Naresh played for Ba Football before joining Extra Bula FC for the club’s inaugural campaign.
Naresh says he is very happy to be back with Extra Bula FC, as last season was a major learning experience for him.
He says he learnt a lot from the coaches and players around him and knows there is still plenty of room for improvement.
The 19-year-old says Ba is home, so returning and being part of such a successful season was special.
Naresh credits his family’s support as a driving force behind his progress.
Bula FC says that after the professional season ended in May, Naresh returned to the Men in Black in June, helping them complete a historic domestic quadruple by winning the Extra Premier League, BiC Fiji FACT, Extra Battle of the Giants and FMF Inter-District Championship titles.
Naresh was also part of the Fiji national team that won the 2026 MSG Prime Minister’s Cup, ending a title drought of more than 20 years.
Bula FC says Naresh is currently in Auckland alongside Sterling Vasconcellos and Maikah Dau, participating in the OFC Player Placement Programme with A-League club Auckland FC.
The club says the professional development opportunity provides valuable exposure to a high-performance football environment as he prepares for the 2027 season.
