The Nadroga rugby team came from behind to beat Kadavu 32-19 in round 11 of the Skipper Cup competition at Lawaqa Park this afternoon.
Kadavu gave the Stallions a run for their money, taking a 12-10 lead at half-time.
Kadavu continued to put pressure on the hosts in the second half, scoring another try to extend their lead to 19-10.
However, Nadroga fought back, scoring a try to close the gap to 19-15.
With only a few minutes remaining, the former champions regrouped and scored two more tries to take a 27-19 lead.
Kadavu refused to give up and continued to look for opportunities to break through Nadroga's defence, but the Stallions proved too strong as they secured the victory.
In other results, Tailevu defeated Taveuni 28-8 and Ba thumped Lautoka 53-22.
