The All Blacks and Springboks will meet at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg tomorrow morning for the third instalment of Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry, with the four-Test series locked at 1-1.
The All Blacks have been the more attacking side in 2026, averaging 36 points and 5.4 tries per Test, compared with South Africa’s 32.7 points and 4.3 tries.
New Zealand have also carried the ball more often and made almost 1,000 metres per match, while the Springboks have relied more heavily on their kicking game and set-piece strength.
The All Blacks’ tackle success rate of 87.7 percent is better than South Africa’s 83.6 percent, while the Springboks have the advantage at lineout time with a 93.9 percent success rate.
South Africa won the most recent encounter 33-26 in Cape Town last week, after the All Blacks opened the series with a 33-16 victory at Ellis Park.
Will Jordan has been a key attacking threat for New Zealand, scoring eight tries in five Tests, while Ardie Savea will again lead the side as captain.
For the Springboks, Cheslin Kolbe has been their leading points scorer with 44 points, while Jesse Kriel has scored four tries in five Tests.
With the series tied, tomorrow's clash at 3.10am is expected to be another closely fought encounter as both sides look to take control ahead of the fourth and final Test.
