Yami Gautam's new horror-comedy film Nayyi Navelli has reportedly received mixed reviews following its release yesterday.
The film follows Mohini, a newly married woman whose arrival brings unexpected changes to her husband's family.
The story takes a mysterious turn when her brother-in-law begins to suspect that she is a witch.
Directed by Balaji Mohan and produced by Aanand L Rai, the film combines horror, comedy and family drama.
While some critics have praised Gautam's performance and the film's interesting concept, others have criticised its weak storyline, inconsistent humour and confusing second half.
The Times of India has given the film 2.5 out of 5 stars, while NDTV and Cinema Express have rated it 2 out of 5.
