Suva took the lead in the 38th minute through Gagame Feni and went into the half-time break leading 1-0.
Nasinu came out strongly in the second half and found the equaliser before Suva responded to regain the lead at 2-1.
However, Nasinu continued to put pressure on the Suva defence and were rewarded when a Suva defender scored an own goal to level the scores at 2-2.
Neither side was able to find the winner before the final whistle.
Suva coach Pita Rabo says it was a tough match and Nasinu proved to be a strong opponent.
Rabo says their plan was to beat Nasinu by a big margin, but they were unable to achieve that.
He thanked his players for their performance and says tomorrow's match against defending champions Rewa will be crucial for their semi-final hopes.
Rabo says Rewa is a very good team and the match could decide whether Suva progresses to the semi-finals.
In another match, Khelvin Realtors Lautoka secured three crucial points after defeating Pacific Heavy Industries Nadi 5-2.
Meanwhile, Dayals Steel Ba is currently taking on Vantex Solutions Navua.
In the final match of the day, Extra Supermarket Labasa will face defending champions Stratum/Lincoln Rewa at 7.30pm.
