Varshna Kiran of Savusavu is thankful to the Ministry of Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises after they gave her $14,00 under the concessional loan scheme.
Kiran says she has been operating her business named Jolly Corner for the past 7 years and provides work for six other women.
She says with the assistance provided by the Ministry she was able to buy additional stock and also pay her workers.
Kiran also expanded her business in 2021 by opening a restaurant which created more job opportunities for women in her community to continue working hard till they reach their goals.
She acknowledged the Ministry for the much needed financial assistance made available for entrepreneurs especially during the pandemic.
